As of June 2024 we have raised £2,700 for Kent and Medway Young Musicians Trust.

In 2024/25 we are raising funds for Kent and Medway Young Musicians Trust. The Trust is passionate about helping the next generation of musicians progress on their musical journey, awarding grants to promising young musicians of limited means. The financial awards are used towards tuition fees, instruments, courses and music.

In their September Newsletter they reported the following news:

Success for 'Walk and Sing'
As mentioned in our last newsletter, Sutton Valence Choral Society have kindly made us their nominated charity of the year. Their sponsored 'Walk and Sing' between Little Chart, Pluckley, and Egerton churches on 8 June was a great success, with a substantial sum of money being raised for KaMYMT. Five of the young musicians we have supported attended the event, providing musical entertainment for the walkers at all three churches and also over lunch.
“It was a wonderful day made extra special by the involvement of KaMYM Trust and the young musicians. So good to see the fruits of your charity’s work at first hand.” - SVCS
Their sponsorship of us this year is really making a difference - as of June they have raised £2,700 – a very impressive sum and we are hugely grateful to them!
